I am currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Global Postdoctoral Fellow (Horizon Europe), working on the project TOPOCLIM-EWS with Dr. Elizabeth Munch and Dr. Ceylan Yozgatlıgil.

I received my B.Sc. in Mathematics (major) and Statistics (minor) from Dokuz Eylül University, İzmir, Türkiye, graduating as valedictorian. I subsequently completed my M.Sc. at the same institution. I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematical Engineering from İTÜ, İstanbul, Türkiye, under the supervision of Dr. Atabey Kaygun. My doctoral research focused on topological data analysis and clustering algorithms in machine learning. From August 2021 to August 2022, I was a visiting researcher at Michigan State University, where I worked with Dr. Elizabeth Munch, supported by the TÜBİTAK 2214-A International Doctoral Research Fellowship Programme.
