About me
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in the department of mathematics (major) as the Valedictorian and the deparment of statistics (minor) from the Dokuz Eylül University in İzmir, Türkiye. I then received my M.Sc. degree from the same university. I have received my Ph.D. in department of mathematical engineering at İTÜ İstanbul, Türkiye where I was advised by Dr. Atabey Kaygun. My dissertation research focused on topological data analysis and clustering algorithms. Between August 2021 and 2022, I was a visiting researcher at the department of computational mathematics, science and engineering, Michigan State University, USA with supervisor Dr. Elizabeth Munch thanks to TÜBİTAK 2214-A International Doctoral Research Fellowship Programme.
